Astrantia major 'Vanilla Gorilla'

Masterwort

We are going bananas over this NEW VARIEGATED Astrantia, as we know the world will as well! Discovered by Brad Grover, here at our facility in Union, IL. This selection of Astrantia m. 'Primadonna' has proven to be a stable sensation in production and our trial gardens for six years. The very broad, creamy white margin on deeply lobed, serrated edged blue-green and silvery foliage. Stunning throughout the season. Bushy, clump-forming and erect with open stems producing silvery-pink pincushion flowers from June to July. Deadhead to encourage a second flush of blooms. Trouble-free, a tidy and well-behaved plant for part shade. Cool weather will encourage some pink highlights in the creamy variegation. A perfect plant for any jungle!
