Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus'

Porcupine Grass

Dense clump, a fountain-like appearance with upright arching leaves that are variegated with yellow horizontal bands. that often turns attractive shades of yellow to orange in fall. Pink to red flowers in feathery, whisk-like, loose terminal panicles bloom above the foliage from late August to October. Foliage fades to tan soon after frost. Great winter interest.
