Near black, glossy, rounded leaves with creamy white flowers. Tidy, reliable and compact. Great in containers, along walkways, or as a border plant. Spectacular planted with green, yellow and silver companion plants. Airy blooms and intense leaves serve well as cut flowers.
This is suppose to be a more vigorous grower than 'Obsidian' with a darker shade of black.

Shear off spent leaves in spring. Happiest planted in part shade with constant moisture. May be an evergreen in milder climates. These will survive well planted under trees. Salt tolerant. Mulch in fall.
